Essex Woodcraft Ltd was founded in 1990 by Richard Swinton for the purpose of manufacturing specialist joinery.
 
From humble beginnings a high class joinery organisation has developed, occupying 17,000 square feet of freehold factory space.
 
The fully trained workforce, offers constant standards of high craftsmanship and supports steady growth and consistent levels of achievement, very well demonstrated by the company over the past decades.
 
Our team of knowledgeable, friendly staff are trained to recognise and understand customers' requirements, enabling correct standards of workmanship to be applied and technical specifications to be achieved.
 
Attention to detail is enhanced by the use of modern computer technology, providing accuracy which is of paramount importance in the production of bespoke joinery.
 
We are pleased to offer these services within a modern production environment ensuring a forward looking approach that will enable us to carry on with our success.

Essex Woodcraft Ltd works to British Standard ISO 9001 in which we achieved accreditation in November 2006.
 
More recently we have achieved the certification for the Chain of Custody for both FSC and PEFC as we have a great regard for our environment.
