Environmental Policy

Senior Management pledge to establish, implement and maintain an environmental management system which conforms to the requirements of the ISO14001 standard.
 
The fundamental principle of our environmental management of our environmental impact(s) will be to manage our activities, products and services with due consideration for the protection of the environment.
 
We will identify those aspects of our business activities that could have a significant effect upon the environment and will actively manage and monitor them.  Our aim in managing the significant aspects is to minimise any adverse environmental impacts whilst supporting those that are considered to have a positive impact.
 
We will where practical purchase products and services from suppliers that have demonstrated a commitment to improving and optimising their own environmental performance in their delivery of service or supply of product.
 
We are commited to the use of sustainable timber wherever possible and are able to provide confirmed Chain of Custody through either the FSC or PEFC schemes as appropriate (subject to availability of specified materials).
 
We will establish targets and objectives at relevant levels within the business against which to objectively measure improvements in our environmental performance and will review these on a regular basis to demonstrate our commitment to continual improvement.
 
Where employees and people working on our behalf require training in order to fulfill their role in the implementation of this Environmental Policy, we will ensure that such training is identified, resourced and delivered.
 
We recognise and accept our legal duty of care toward the environment and are commited to complying with relevant legal requirements and regulations and with the requirements of other standards to which we subscribe.
 
We will seek on a continual basis to prevent, minimise and control pollution associated with our business activities and lying within the defined scope of the policy through the practical application of waste and resource minimisation programmes.
